Cornetto Algida (Italy) leads the ranking for the most successful advertising campaigns on YouTube in Italy, in 2014 , with ‘ Cupidity Love Story ‘
The spot, created to launch Cornetto Cupidity, tells a love story with a modern twist, where Cornetto, Facebook and two young people turn a fleeting encounter into a summer love story. “Love is always the core value of Cornetto,” says George Nicolai, marketing director of Unilever Ice Cream Italy (which heads Algida). ” I wholeheartedly believe in Cupidity Love Stories, a project that aims to tell stories of kids of different nationalities, using a universal language : that of love.” The global campaign was made by the creative agency LOLA, the Global agency of record for Cornetto and developed by MOFILM.
