5ocial Kisses: A Magnum interaction

Shoppers at the Triangle shopping centre in Barcelona have this week been finding out how ‘kissable’ they are with “5ocial Kisses” by Magnum. An interactive vending machine designed by LOLA, “5ocial Kisses” rewards ‘kissable’ participants with one of Magnum’s latest “5 Kisses” French Patisserie-themed ice creams.

To enter, the user must take a ‘selfie’ photo with the vending machine, which is then uploaded to their Facebook page asking how ‘kissable’ the person is. If a certain number of likes are earned from the user’s friends, the vending machine distributes a free Magnum “5 Kisses” ice cream.

“In a global campaign like 5 Kisses from Magnum, just as important as the main pieces of the campaign are the activations in local markets,” explained Paulo Areas, Global Creative Director at LOLA. “5ocial Kisses allows us to work with several digital and social media which can be vital for the success of the campaign.”
